DIY: Tie Dye Jeans

Look what I did! This Tuesday I got hit by a car.. Yes, not the most every day thing, but I'm okay. That day I tie dyed my jeans with bleach. It was the jeans I was wearing (without the tie dye) when I was flying over the bonnet!

Style of: Caroline Issa

This time Caroline Issa took my attention, a multi-culti woman with a Chinese mother and half Lebanese-half Iranian father! As the publisher and fashion director at Tank she is also seen as a streetstyle blog darling. Get inspired, go for colour, and pair a good blouse like she often does.

Details and mindfulness

This weekend was really a relaxing weekend, with a workshop of Mindfulness, high tea, a lot of sleep, Sunday breakfast with warm bread and cooked egg of my sweet boyfriend. And last but not least.. We booked our flight to Marrakesh! I'm sooooo excited to go! In September it's much cheaper to fly, and also the hotels are much cheaper. Think of €250 for 10 days for 2 persons! Of course not the best, but a swimming pole and breakfast included!
And the mindfulness workshop was again a good lesson to be in here and now, and do some more informal activities for in daily life. It's makes you more conscious about what you do at that moment and don't just do what your dairy/agenda says and think about what to eat, cook, doing the dishes, laundry, contact a friend or whatever. This sort of therapy is inspired by Buddhism (totally inspired already!) and says pain is inevitable, suffering is optional. If you are triggered, read this otherwise Wikipedia can inform you.

I'm very happy that my weekend ended like that, because now it's time to work myself totally out, what I mean? I really need to study, exams are coming soon, too soon, although I started in February.
For now, I made a -black/white with some grey and blue- collage with all funny or just sweet details. Hope you like it. Next plan: tie dye my jeans! Just a part of the legs underneath, or like the one of Zara I posted here. Then I have to buy lots and lots of more bleach, hihi.

Ombre hair and Susanne

Still (yes, about a year) thinking about taking this ombre hair. My hair is very long, straight and black, so I don't know if dyed dark blonde hair is nice. Maybe just more like lighter brown hair on the ends.

These last days a friend of my childhood, Susanne, came here in Leuven. One of the best days I ever had here. We looked for activities for me to do here, so unexpectedly I signed up for an international student club called Pangaea. It was only 4 euro and I got a big red mug for free coffee. And I decided to do a Thai cooking workshop and have a free make-up advice with try-out! So for  these couple of weeks I will be fine :-).

Interior and closets

Here in my small apartment I don't have any space to have my clothes hanging on a rack, but when I have a bigger room, I would like really want to have one. You can sort your clothes, it's more organised and hanging your clothes is much better than just have it fold in the closet. You can actually see what clothes you have! Right? Maybe it will get easier to decide what to wear every morning..
Here a few ideas how other bloggers organise there closets. And for more interior inspirations, go to my tab inspiration!

DIY: Bleached denim and how to wear?

A couple of days ago I bought these bleach (2 liter) for only 70 eurocents at the cheap Aldi store. Not only to clean my bathroom, but also to bleach jeans! I never tried it before, so I used an old denim vest to try it out. For this 'do it yourself' I googled some and finally used these websites, one from A Pair And A Spare, she bleached her sleeves (cool for a next bleach session!). And I used the blog of Afterdrk. The DIY is so easy. Here some attentions:
- Just be aware about how much you want to bleach it, set an alarm or something, because after an hour it will be quite white..
- The bleach will withdraw upwards a bit, so if you want an ombre effect, be careful!
- If you just  want to have the tie dye like the Isabel Marant version, use the DIY of Afterdrk.
- Please use gloves

After your finished, you have to wear it! But how? Here some inspiration for you! Are you going to try it out?

Today I was at the Coffee Cup in Leuven, had a great Latte Macchiato and this chocolate bounty cake. There was only rain rain rain, please let it be Spring!

Work-out: Fit Sugar TV, Get the bod and healthy meals

Yesterday I just found a new website called Fit Sugar TV. I know, it is very very American style, but after all, it has a lot of tips for getting the bod of a celebrity. Of course you have to exercise these work outs more than one, or two times a week, otherwise you wouldn't see a result. But the good thing is that you can practise it at home! My favourite ones are here below:

Here is Lady Gaga's booty with these three exercises.

Get the bod of Jennifer Aniston with these poses!

I'm not even finished. They also have nice meals to make yourself! And I have to say I'm really into food and new recipes, so find yourself a healthy one here. Now I really want to eat :-). Starving!

Try this easy vegetarian Chilli meal. Yummy yummy!

More different than normal, Q-night and Q-day

If you look closely, it's not what you think it is!

Handy Bag                                               I am a contactcase                               Your book is your bag

Last Sunday night we celebrated Queensnight in Amsterdam. And Monday we had Queensday. Every year it's a big big BIG thing in Holland, not only Amsterdam. I can imagine that if you accidentally or just for curiosity came in one of the big cities, you'd be surprised! Every one in orange, or colours of the flag: red, white, blue and bring bags with beer, music on the streets and boats, you would say: Dutch people are really nationalistic, sorry 'bout that :-), it's more like a good ritual and good occasion, or excuse, to drink. But after all, it was so much fun and to have friends all together again is the best :-). Here some instagramimpressions.
