DIY Leather clutch & Camouflage jacket

Guess I had the most productive 'do it yourself' Sunday ever! The vintage camouflage jacket I bought was kind of big, so I tucked it in and now it fits me exactly how I want it. Was very surprised about my own sewing skills.
Then I started my leather clutch. Yes, I got this very sweet mom that bought me the leather so that I can make this! Thanks for that :-). I had this Huxley clutch of Anya Hindmarch as an example.
I don't have any sewing machine, but that's not a problem at all. For this one, on google you have a lot of youtubes and blogs to help you. A Pair And A Spare shows you how to make this Camo clutch, this is possible with leather too. After making the clutch, I also put on sort of round golden emblem to spice it up and made the tassel, HonestlyWTF has a good DIY.

Bloggers I follow

Here are some outfits of bloggers I like to follow. Some new or a bit more old inspirational outfits ;-). Oh, I have to admit these are not all of them.. I follow more than 50 websites.. Too much? Inspiration for every day I guess!
Wow, this Eudon Choi jacket fits blogger AfterDRK very well..
All the (neon) knitting is getting autumn in the mood. Have you seen the boots already of TheFashionGuitar?!
Still diggin' the style of Song of Style! So casual right?
This ChicMuse has a chic appearance in leather, long dresses,  big knittings, a barking rotrweiler shirt. Who can beat her?
Swedish Vanillascented has a minimalistic way to express feminism with a lot of black and white!
A new one in my list of bloggers I follow, a Dutch girl Soophisticated

FASHIONVIBE is combines her own funny neat style into fashion. Respect!

I think I started with following blogs with StyleScrapbook. Always surprises me! And btw, great idea this ZARA jacket for my ownjacket.
No idea who this is, but I had to put this girl in between all the other. GREAT hair! A lot of coolness in here!

What I'm looking at and doing lately...

Look at these t-shirt and dress of Phillip Lim. Really like black and white, and definitely the combination of front and back. I have seen it also for trousers with different fabrics or colours.
At the moment I am knitting a big big neon pink scarf for myself. I didn't know how to knit, but YouTube helped me out. So I'm working on my skills! This Veritas shop in Leuven is one of my favourite, I come there every weekend to sneak around. They sell jewellery but also knitting stuff, buttons, and stuff for bracelets, necklaces, earrings.
And I found a great vintage shop here in Leuven, called 'Think Twice'. Everything is around 12 euro and every month you have discounts till 1 euro (yes... EVERYTHING is 1 euro). So I had to buy the military jacket for 14 euro. And I'm looking for inspiration now to pimp it up with a brooch, pearls, buttons or other bling bling. Any ideas?
Woops, now I really need to study! Next week my holiday will start. I'm going to Marrakesh, a rich and poor city but with a typical culture and architecture I expect.
Have a nice Sunday. X
