DIY: Tuxedo pants

I got myself a new Do It Yourself! Last year I got very very nice neat pants, and I think it will be even better when these ribbon makes it a bit more of a tuxedo pants.
Searching for that one blogpost how to make that track pants myself. I found it a year ago, and I stored it somewhere in my map of DIY. How I found it? I googled the name -only numbers...- of the file itself. Can't  believe I found it right away!

Here the steps to try this one out yourself:

You will need:
9 ft ribbon of your choice
Iron-on fabric adhesive (we used Heat-n-Bond)
Scissors
Iron
1. Measure: Lay your pants on a flat, iron safe, surface with the outer seam side up. Using your ribbon, measure your trousers from top to bottom - leave an excess of 2 inches at each end. Double this length and cut two equal size pieces.

2. Adhere tape to ribbon: Cut adhesive tape to be the same length as your ribbon and lay flat on the back side of ribbon to be bonded. Heat iron on medium heat, no steam setting. Once heated, place iron on top of the tape for 3 seconds, continue to heat until both ribbon and tape are completely stuck together. Then peel back the remaining tape.

3. Adhere ribbon to pants: Tuck the end of your ribbon (adhesive side down) inside the waistband and hold iron to ribbon pressing down for 6 seconds. Adhere the rest of your ribbon to the outer seam of your pants by holding iron down on ribbon for 6 seconds along your seam. Iron any excess ribbon to the inside seam of your pants hem.

4. Repeat: Repeat steps 9-12 on the other pant leg and any other trousers that need a little pick me up.

DIY: Twist your own dress!

Yes, I thought about buying a twisted dress - on Asos they always got nice ones -, but I figured that it's so easy to make it yourself! In two minutes, you are following the see-my-midriff-shining-trend in the pocket :). Here you got the YouTube. Only thing you need: Stretchy dress and scissors.
So now I only have to buy a cheap dress and bring it on - please, sun come over here!! -

You got style or you don't

If I have to recall one person with so much style, classiness and so much guts to wear every single colour that is in her closet, it is Eleonora Carisi, from JouJou Villeroy. On her blog I found all of her street looks, looks in magazines, and so on. - She is very pretty... - Maybe I wouldn't wear every combination, but the way she plays with clothes is magic! With her classic countenance she can handle everything, even the big tattoos on her chest - which are totally cool btw! -, and a mole near her mouth makes her one of a kind.
She really rocks, don't you think?
