This September I went to Morocco with my boyfriend. Wow, what a great experience was that! Our first day we got lost all the time and there was a lot of chaos and were confused the whole time. It was because of these weird speaking English people with Arabic accent that tells you about there herbs and magic ingredients that helps to your stomach pain and how to lose weight. Speaking of people in general, all young guys try to guide you through Marrakesh (I understand why.. a looooot of crossroads), and send you to the wrong direction. Maybe just because for fun or to lead you to one of there uncle stores, and then ask money for there tour guide of only 10 minutes (7 minutes walking and 3 minutes of lame talking..). But after that first day, we knew not to get misguided again, but sometimes we confused ourselves, so people try take advantage from it.
I almost forgot to mention the very typical Moroccan palaces and the super crowded Djemaa El Fna square. In the evening there is music, belly dancers, people that show you snakes, monkeys, pigeons, guinea pigs, but also food, soup, orange juices, jewellery and much more! Great to see all the lights from above. That makes everything okay and makes Marrakesh more beautiful and pure. It's a place where more Moroccan people are than tourists.
No surprise we chilled our third day in the Cyber park where you can use the internet and watch couples, and listen to this cute little guy that can't speak English, and just a little French. Our communication? Sort of talking about Michael Jackson, Justin Bieber, a hand full of soccer players.
Then it was time for more relaxation! Or we thought it would be.. We went to the Atlas mountains, Aïti Ben Hadou (a Berber village with only tourists and so named river without water idea) and the Sahara. It took us 10 hours to get there.
