Timberlands and DIY collar

Today I made pictures of the collar I made myself. The leather was from a belt I never used and the mettalic things are again from the sides of a frame. To close the collar I used a sort of wire and a clip of a bra. It took me an hour to fix it, but it was so much fun to do that!

I prefer to combine it with this blouse and trousers. Sun, please warm me up!

And here my lovely Timberlands, paired with white lace socks and shorts

Weekend Brussels

Feeling quite home here in this studio or 'kot', while I'm not very often at my own place! Just to busy? Not exactly, I prefer to study in the liberary.
This weekend I went to a really great event in Brussels, it called Museum Night Fever with really sweet Italian people! The concept is good, because everyone can go to 24 museums from 7 PM to 1 AM. Afterwards there were afterparties at two big clubs. We made it to three museums and no afterparty. The best thing is that at every museum they had a performance, or a guided tour by students in different languages, or a game you could play with other visitors. At the palace of Brussels in a room with a lot of mirrors, there was a photographer that made pictures from us and we made pictures of him. And at the museum with the dinosaruss there was chamber music with dancing couples and people in ropes, moving on the music. Meanwhile I was playing with bones, looking at a big big T-rex, drinking my beer, and eating my muffin (I was starving at half past 12..). So I can say, it was a great experience! I made a collage with the best pictures of that evening.
The next day I was at the flea market and couldn't resist to buy a lovely secondhand pair of Timberlands in my size! I think the boots where from the son of the seller, so I was very happy that it was only 15 euro! I also bought comics from Jerome (of Willy and Wanda) for my dad's birthday and the same sort of sunglasses I lost in Thailand. Couldn't be better buys.

I also made some collages from the sweetes pastelcolours, mint clothing and beanies (fond of it, wearing the one of my boyfriend if I have the possibility!!) You can see them at tab 'Inspiration'!

Smell Spring!

Yesterday the sky was blue and when I went outside the smell of Spring just came right into my nose! It made me happy right-away. I didn't mind doing all the reading for the study, my window was open so I had Spring right into my room. Like a good addiction that I want more and more, hihi.
Leuven is a new experience for me, a good one, because it makes me realize that Holland is so organised and I appreciate that even more. When I was in Thailand I already did that, but I thought; Belgium would be almost the same as Holland, but not at all!! It's a bigger difference than I expected it would be. Some words that remains me of Leuven are inefficient with time (or maybe just a bit easier with time..), not very spontaneous, a bit more closed. But you can also interpreted as respect for the other.. ? I don't know, but I'm really not like that. For example; I came into class with a delay, there were not a lot of people and the teacher looked at me, but didn't say anything and was just talking further about the current subject. I really felt like interrupting, instead of that the teacher said like; hi, come in, we are talking about blablabla, take a seat or whatever.
Maybe it's just Dutch people maybe not..
After all, I was still happy with this great weather. The roads to my class are a bit hilly, so my muscles will be soured after a while. It gives me a good feeling of (a sort of) working out, haha! Yeah, a bit weird feeling, I know.. So my day couldn't be better. Now the only thing is.. create more colour colour colour and saw these nice colourful and -blocking pictures. I'm really into mint, especially the trousers, to combine them with a sweet top with lace or whatever.

Take me to this colourful world now!!

DIY's blouse and inspiration for interior

Today I tried a DIY (do it yourself), one I already waited for ages.. And I made it in 10 minutes! Unbelievable! At the Zara I saw this blouse, and at several blogs I saw the DIY, so I finally decided to try it out. The metallic things are from the sides of a photo frame, which are from the shop Tiger.
Here the result:

This weekend I went to Leiden and Chinese New Year in The Hague. It reminds me of very good food..

I found some other DIY's, so enjoy!

This one costs you a bit more effort.. Click here  for the tutorial.

Glitters on your converse

This Saturday I will move to a studio in Leuven and I'm really searching for decorations to make my room a bit more cozy and more personal. So here some easy DIY for your own room.

Look at the mannequin on the right! Sweeeet.

Still searching for that sort of porcelain hand..

See you! x
